Brett Favre scandal makes for interesting Monday night

Does anyone else think that the Jets may have started this whole Brett Favre scandal to try to put him off his game tonight?  To me it all seems a little too convenient that it has been leaked out at this time.  Why not before?  It has been a couple of years since he played there you would have thought someone would have leaked it before right?  I think it is going to be difficult for the NFL to prove that it was actually him.  Also if Jen Sterger doesn't want to press charges why should the NFL investigate the case?

In any case this is going to be an interesting game for a number of reasons.  Can Brett keep his head together?  We all know the memorable games he has had before under adversity, this could be the big stage he has been waiting for.  He also now has Randy Moss running deep catching everything that comes his way.  Now Brett doesn't need any encouragement to chuck it down field and hope for the best.  Now he has a legitimate reason.  You know he is going to give it a go.

For all these reasons tonight's game is not to be missed.
